Who has become the new Union Education Minister of India?

Pralhad Joshi has become the new Union Education Minister of India. He took charge of the Ministry of Education in July 2026 after the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan. Apart from the Education Ministry, Pralhad Joshi also continues to handle the Ministries of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and New and Renewable Energy. His appointment is considered important for continuing the implementation of education reforms and the National Education Policy (NEP).
