Mahindra & Mahindra is set to launch the XUV700 Facelift, officially named XUV 7XO, on 5 January 2026. The company has confirmed that pre-bookings started on 15 December 2025 at 12:00 PM with a booking amount of ₹21,000. Interested buyers can also watch the official teaser released on Mahindra’s YouTube channel. With major upgrades in design and technology, the XUV 7XO is expected to be one of the most talked-about SUV launches in India.

Expected Price of Mahindra XUV 7XO Facelift

Currently, the Mahindra XUV700 is priced between ₹13.66 lakh and ₹23.71 lakh (ex-showroom). Due to the added features and technology upgrades, the XUV 7XO is expected to be priced slightly higher than the outgoing model. Once launched, it will compete with strong rivals such as the MG Hector, Hyundai Alcazar, and Tata Safari in the premium mid-size SUV segment.

During its testing phase, the Mahindra XUV 7XO has been spotted multiple times on Indian roads, revealing several design updates. The facelifted SUV will feature a more upright multi-slat front grille, new dual-pod LED projector headlamps, a sharper air dam, and a redesigned front bumper with a wider skid plate. At the rear, it is expected to get connected LED tail-lamps, a refreshed bumper, and 18-inch alloy wheels. Mahindra is also likely to introduce new monotone and dual-tone exterior colour options.

In terms of performance, Mahindra is likely to retain the existing engines from the current XUV700. The XUV 7XO is expected to continue with the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and the 2.2-litre diesel engine. Mahindra may also introduce its mild-hybrid technology with the facelift to improve fuel efficiency and driving dynamics.

Mahindra has confirmed that customers can pre-book the XUV 7XO through authorized dealerships and online platforms. Buyers will have the flexibility to select their preferred dealership, fuel type, and transmission at the time of booking. The SUV will be offered in petrol and diesel variants, each available with manual and automatic gearbox options.
