Uttar Pradesh government has announced a new district named Kalyan Singh Nagar, honoring former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh.
It will be formed by merging areas from Atrauli & Gangri tehsils (Aligarh) and Dibai tehsil (Bulandshahr).

5. UN Convention Against Cybercrime Signed by 72 Nations

A global treaty against cybercrime, called the Hanoi Convention, has been signed by 72 countries.
