The joint military exercise ‘Ajeya Warrior-25’ between India and the United Kingdom has begun in Rajasthan. The exercise is being conducted at the Foreign Training Node of Mahajan Field Firing Range in Bikaner district.

Calcutta High Court Cancels Mukul Roy’s MLA Membership
The Calcutta High Court has cancelled the Assembly membership of TMC leader Mukul Roy under the provisions of the Anti-Defection Law.
Mukul Roy was elected as BJP MLA from Krishnanagar North in May 2021.
A few months later, he joined Trinamool Congress (TMC).
A petition was filed by Suvendu Adhikari (Leader of Opposition) and BJP MLA Ambika Roy.
The court held that joining TMC after winning on a BJP ticket is a clear violation of the Anti-Defection Law.
Earlier, Assembly Speaker Biman Banerjee had treated him as a BJP MLA and rejected the disqualification plea, which the High Court has now overturned.

Introduced by 52nd Constitutional Amendment Act, 1985.
Incorporated in the 10th Schedule of the Constitution.
Objective: Prevent party-hopping by MPs and MLAs.
Applicable to Lok Sabha and State Legislative Assemblies.

20th International Tripitaka Chanting Ceremony at Bodh Gaya
The 20th Annual International Tripitaka Japa Ceremony will be held from 2–13 December 2025 at the Mahabodhi Temple in Bodh Gaya, Bihar.
For the first time, 17 Buddhist organisations from India are collectively organizing the event.
Buddhist monks, nuns, and devotees will collectively chant the Pali Canon (Tripitaka).
The Mahabodhi Temple is regarded as the holiest Buddhist site, where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment.
After the ceremony, a “Commemorative Walk of Buddha’s Footprints” will be held on 13–14 December 2025.
