The Madhya Pradesh government has announced plans to develop the Nauradehi Sanctuary as India’s third permanent cheetah habitat under Project Cheetah.

Located in Sagar and Damoh districts, the sanctuary covers around 1,200 sq. km and falls under the Veerangana Rani Durgawati Tiger Reserve.
