Annadata Sukhibhava Scheme
The Govt of Andhra Pradesh is set to launch a scheme the Annadata Sukhibhava Scheme on June 20, 2025 aligning it with the central PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has announced that the combined benefit under these initiative will amount to ₹20,000 per eligible farmer in a year, integrating the ₹6,000 provided by the Centre under PM-Kisan with an additional ₹14,000 from the State Government under Annadata Sukhibhava Scheme.
Unlike the previous rules and benefits, which provided ₹7,500 per annum under the Rythu Bharosa scheme, It then renamed to 'Annadata Sukhibhava Scheme' and the amount is increased by Rs.6,500 being total of Rs.14,000. The present initiative aims to enhance direct income support to the agrarian community. A critical prerequisite for availing of this benefit is the completion of e-KYC, which has been made mandatory to ensure targeted and transparent delivery of assistance. Farmers are advised to complete eKyc (Adhaar enabled) verification process at their respective Rythu Seva Kendras by June 20, 2025.
The Annadata Sukhibhava Scheme installments are structured as:
- First Installment (June): ₹7,000 will be credited — ₹2,000 from the Centre and ₹5,000 from the State.
- Second Installment (October): ₹7,000 — ₹2,000 (Centre) + ₹5,000 (State).
- Third Installment (January): ₹6,000 — ₹2,000 (Centre) + ₹4,000 (State).
This plan shows how central and state governments work together to support farming. It aims to increase farmers' income by sending money directly to them. This should bring more financial stability and consistent policy for people in rural Andhra Pradesh who work in agriculture.
